Kintsugi Skull incarna l'armonia tra tradizione e oggetto contemporaneo, è creato con maestria evocando la millenaria tecnica del Kintsugi ed unendola all’iconica forma di teschio.

Mi affascinava l’idea di coniugare una tecnica antica come quella del Kintsugi ad un soggetto cosi forte, il risultato è qualcosa di piratesco ma al contempo molto interessante.

Il Teschio possiede un forte simbolismo legato alla trasformazione e i decori floreali, associati ad esso, creano un contrasto che ricorda il mondo dei tatuaggi old school aggiungendo un tocco di romanticismo e mistero al soggetto, fondendosi armoniosamente con le crepe dorate presenti su tutta la sua superficie, ne emerge una nuova estetica delle imperfezioni che si spinge oltre i confini del tradizionale.

Kintsugi Skull embodies the harmony between tradition and contemporary design; it is masterfully crafted by evoking the ancient art of Kintsugi and combining it with the iconic skull motif.
I was fascinated by the idea of combining an ancient technique like Kintsugi with such a powerful subject; the result is something with a pirate-like feel yet, at the same time, very intriguing.
The skull carries strong symbolism linked to transformation, and the floral motifs associated with it create a contrast reminiscent of the world of old-school tattoos, adding a touch of romance and mystery to the subject. Blending harmoniously with the golden cracks across its surface, a new aesthetic of imperfections emerges, pushing beyond the boundaries of the traditional.
