BEAUTIFUL MESS - Karman
Crescendo sono sempre più attratto dall'ordine, da quelle visioni che fanno riposare gli occhi.
Questa affermazione può intendere che io sia attratto dal minimale, ma non è così.
In "Beautiful Mess" ho affrontato una piccola sfida: quella di trovare un criterio d'ordine e bellezza nel disordine.
Anche nell'Arte ci sono due grandi filoni: quello della composizione centrale, semplice e simmetrica e quello in cui la composizione può raggiungere l'astratto in un susseguirsi di stili, pesi ed equilibri che sembrano apparentemente non in armonia.
Compito dell'artista, a volte, è spingersi il più possibile oltre una composizione semplice pur mantenendo armonia e poetica.
Ho scelto quelli che secondo me erano gli elementi caratteristici del mondo dell'illuminazione, dato che sono attratto da tutti questi stili diversi li ho riprodotti, dal più umile al più sofisticato.
Così ho creato una coralità di linguaggi, differenze che si esaltano a vicenda, introducendo anche un piccolo non-sense, il pesce, questo deriva dal fatto che questo tipo di assemblaggio è lo stesso che ho usato in "Grande Anima", un'opera che riproduce una balena a grandezza naturale.
Il lampadario di cui sto parlando potrebbe trovarsi nella pancia della balena, se fai una ricerca capisci cosa intendo.
Mi riconosco in questa complessità, siamo individui pieni di sfaccettature, siamo tante cose, è un mondo dove ogni cosa ne contiene altre, dove le storie fanno riferimento ad altre storie.
"Beautiful Mess" è tutto questo.

As I grow up I am more and more attracted by order, by those visions that make the eyes rest.
This statement may mean that I am attracted by minimalism, but this is not the case.
In "Beautiful Mess" I faced a small challenge: that of finding a criterion of order and beauty in disorder.
Even in Art there are two great strands: that of the central, simple and symmetrical composition and that in which the composition can reach the abstract in a succession of styles, weights and balances that apparently appear not to be in harmony.
The artist's task, at times, is to go as far as possible beyond a simple composition while maintaining harmony and poetics.
I chose what in my opinion were the characteristic elements of the world of lighting, since I am attracted by all these different styles I reproduced them, from the humblest to the most sophisticated.
So I created a chorality of languages, differences that enhance each other, also introducing a small non-sense, the fish, this derives from the fact that this type of assembly is the same that I used in "Grande Anima", a work that reproduces a life-sized whale.
The chandelier I'm talking about could be in the belly of the whale, if you do a search you'll know what I mean.
I recognize myself in this complexity, we are individuals full of facets, we are many things, it is a world where everything contains others, where stories refer to other stories.
"Beautiful Mess" is all of this.
